Responsibilities
- Design components including injection molded plastics, die and investment castings, stampings, and machined parts.
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional project teams to ensure designs meet internal requirements and industry standards.
- Support prototype construction, laboratory testing, and agency testing during the product design cycle.
- Apply engineering practices to solve quality issues.
- Provide continuation engineering support for existing products.
- Interact with various teams on technical matters.
- Identify and implement product and process cost reductions and improvements.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering or Science.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person for the duration of the internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and engineering judgment.
- Collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Zero (0) years of related experience required.
