Responsibilities
- Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.
- Conducts quality assurance tests and performs statistical analysis for quality assessment.
- Audits quality systems for deficiencies and ensures corrective measures meet reliability standards.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates all quality engineering functions for assigned product lines.
- Develops and implements quality metrics to drive manufacturing improvements.
- Conducts training on quality processes as needed.
- Responsible for the administration of the quality system in compliance with regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
- BS or equivalent on-the-job experience.
- 8-10 years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
- Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 21 and experience with FAA documentation.
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in compliance with regulatory requirements including OSHA and EPA.
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft preferred, with A&P certification preferred.
