Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test complex electromechanical systems with various components.
- Drive designs across the entire development lifecycle, from brainstorming to high-volume production.
- Collaborate with electrical engineering, industrial design, and product teams on product development.
- Perform testing and analyses to ensure designs meet product goals, including thermal and structural analyses.
- Conduct concept development and feasibility studies with hands-on prototyping.
- Utilize 3D modeling software for design purposes.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and quality measures for product optimization.
Job Requirements
- BSME or equivalent; MS preferred.
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Solidworks, NX, Creo).
- Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and quality measuring techniques.
- Willingness to travel to Asia as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
