Responsibilities
- Own, architect, and design complex electromechanical systems.
- Drive designs across the entire development lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Solve cross-functional problems by collaborating with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams.
- Perform analysis and testing to ensure designs meet product goals.
- Collaborate with industrial design, marketing, and product teams to shape product direction.
- Provide manufacturing support in Asia for high-volume consumer products.
- Utilize 3D modeling software for product design.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of consumer product design experience.
- Knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal forming, and sensor/electronics integration.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Solidworks, NX, Creo).
- Experience with design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA).
- Solid understanding of quality measuring techniques and root cause analysis.
- BSME or equivalent degree.
- Willingness to travel to China as needed.
