Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and document new components and modules using 3D CAD software
- Support engineering activities related to production
- Fabricate and assemble prototype components and modules
- Develop design verification test methods
- Conduct environmental and/or regulatory testing
- Write test reports
- Assist with design reviews and support operations team in product manufacture and shipment
Job Requirements
- BS in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design
- Knowledge of fabricated and formed sheet metal parts, fluid handling components, and various manufacturing materials
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD system
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and on cross-functional design teams
- Customer-centric mindset and ability to work individually or in a team
- Ability to work with limited direction to achieve project goals
