Responsibilities
- Design and develop industrial electrical systems from conceptual architecture to final schematics.
- Collaborate with mechanical, controls, software, manufacturing, and process engineers on novel manufacturing equipment.
- Establish electrical engineering standards and best practices across DAPS manufacturing modules.
- Manage insourcing vs. outsourcing decisions for electrical designs.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
- Develop industrial electrical control panels and systems.
- Maintain and develop parts libraries and macros for rapid reuse and schematic development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 5 years of relevant experience; or 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with EPlan, AutoCAD, or similar CAD systems.
- Strong understanding of National Electrical Code, NFPA 79 & UL508A.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with industrial PLC, HMI & Motion Control systems.
- Knowledge of electrical certification for industrial systems in the US & Europe.
- Experience designing harness assemblies in 3D CAD software.
