Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop industrial electrical systems from conceptual architecture to final schematics and build.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, controls, software, manufacturing, and process engineers to create novel manufacturing equipment.
  • Establish and drive electrical engineering standards and best practices across manufacturing modules.
  • Make decisions on insourcing vs. outsourcing for designs, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code, NFPA 79, and UL508A.
  • Develop electrical control panels and systems for industrial applications.
  • Maintain and develop parts libraries and macros in EPlan Electric P8 and/or ProPanel.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 5 years of relevant industry experience or 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in EPlan, AutoCAD, or other CAD systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical certification standards in the US & Europe.
  • Experience designing harness assemblies in 3D CAD software like NX, EPlan Harness, or SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with industrial PLC, HMI & Motion Control systems.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to access information and technology subject to US export controls.
