Responsibilities
- Design and develop a robust tool involving mechanical, electrical, and software components, taking full ownership from concept to prototype.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including BOMs, wiring diagrams, test plans, and validation reports.
- Help clean up and organize engineering requirements within Jira.
- Define and document new system requirements based on evolving product needs.
- Support Verification & Validation (V&V) activities, including creating and executing test plans.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficient in at least one CAD software package (e.g., NX, SolidWorks).
- Experience with coding, preferably in Python or C++.
- Exposure to industrial automation technologies such as PLCs, sensors, and drives.
- Solid understanding of fundamental electronics concepts.
- Strong attention to detail with good documentation practices.
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
