The Manufacturing Engineer role involves assisting in the design, integration, and improvement of manufacturing systems and processes while ensuring high-quality products that meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, integration, or improvement of manufacturing systems or processes.
  • Conduct operational or methods analyses regarding manufacturing process flow and labor standards.
  • Evaluate engineering changes and specifications, coordinating with design engineering.
  • Plan and execute simple manufacturing engineering activities to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Assist with the design of experiments and maintain manufacturing standard procedures.
  • Act as a technical liaison with other personnel in project or technical meetings.
  • Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and ability to create models and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain DOD security clearance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
