Co-op (Spring Term)

The position is for a Co-op (Intern) role at Curtiss-Wright in Cheswick, PA, focusing on Mechanical Engineering and other engineering disciplines within the Defense industry. The company designs, manufactures, tests, and supports advanced critical function products.

• Assist in mechanical engineering projects.
• Support various engineering departments including stress and thermal engineering.
• Participate in manufacturing engineering initiatives.
• Engage in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop project schedules as a project control analyst.
• Work in logistics and inventory control.
• Contribute to electrical engineering tasks in facilities and product design.

• Enrollment in a relevant engineering program (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, etc.).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance due to exposure to export-controlled information.
