Responsibilities
- Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products through research and application of engineering principles.
- Confirm system capabilities by designing feasibility tests and evaluating product properties.
- Develop products by analyzing customer requirements and researching manufacturing methods.
- Design and modify equipment for manufacturing processes.
- Ensure product quality through testing and confirmation of fabrication processes.
- Prepare product reports by analyzing information and trends.
- Maintain professional knowledge by participating in workshops and professional societies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
- Skills in requirements analysis, design, and technical presentation.
- Ability to obtain DoD issued Secret Clearance.
- Strong focus on quality and control engineering.
- Experience in production planning.
- Ability to work in an office environment and perform physical demands of the job.
