Responsibilities
- Review production schedules, specifications, and orders.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for cost-effective assembly and quality inspection.
- Apply continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing principles to enhance production processes.
- Identify opportunities for product improvement and cost reduction.
- Create and complete manufacturing documentation such as FMEA and control plans.
- Provide guidance to production teams based on technical knowledge and data analytics.
- Participate in design and manufacturing process reviews and audits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the defense industry.
- Ability to obtain or have a DoD secret clearance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and experience in process improvement.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
