Responsibilities
- Sustain high-quality, reliable medical products for surgical procedures.
- Oversee all phases of design, development, and manufacturing while ensuring compliance with medical device standards.
- Conduct investigations to identify root causes of product issues and implement corrective actions.
- Lead conceptual designs, CAD modeling, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
- Develop test protocols and comprehensive reports related to design activities.
- Conduct verification and validation testing to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Mentor and support the development of fellow team members.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering work experience.
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a highly related field.
- Mastery of 3-D CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of design for manufacturing, including machining and injection molding.
- Experience leading cross-functional and technical teams.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations or similar regulated environments.
- Proficiency in technical writing and statistics.
