Responsibilities
- Develop a floating-point MATLAB model that includes complex mixing, decimation, and interpolation.
- Leverage and extend existing MATLAB generators for the model.
- Quantize the model if time permits for comparison with HDL implementation in FPGA.
- Document the project and simulation results in Microsoft Word.
- Deliver a final presentation to the Systems Engineering team and modem design engineers.
- Collaborate with the Systems Engineering Director.
- Gain exposure to mission-critical technologies related to communications systems.
Job Requirements
- Completion of a graduate-level Digital Signal Processing (DSP) course.
- At least one course in Communications Theory.
- Proficiency in MATLAB; experience with C/C++ or Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with multi-rate signal processing is desirable.
- Strong communication skills for clear and concise writing.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant Master’s Degree program (Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, or related discipline).
- Motivated and analytical candidate.
