Systems Engineering Intern (Summer 2026) (Onsite)

The role is for a Systems Engineering Intern at Collins Aerospace, focusing on the design, verification, and qualification of next generation avionics systems within the aerospace industry.

• Participate in a collaborative integrated product team for avionics CNS products.
• Support design, integration, verification, and validation of avionics systems.
• Work in full product development life-cycle activities.
• Assist in requirements management, systems architecture, test planning, and data analysis.
• Document engineering work in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Gain exposure to avionics regulatory and certification requirements.
• Expand professional network by working alongside industry experts.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or Perl.
• Strong interest in the aerospace industry.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
