Responsibilities
- Read complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Generate and update schematics, board layouts, and mechanical drawings.
- Design, analyze, test, integrate, and document complex hardware.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure appropriate electrical design.
- Participate in cross-functional team efforts for product integration and qualification.
- Identify and communicate technical issues for resolution.
- Contribute to engineering estimates for electrical design problems.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM and minimum 5 years relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience with generating schematics and board layouts.
- Hands-on experience with complex electrical hardware debug and test.
- Extensive experience in electrical hardware design disciplines.
- Knowledge of aviation industry qualification standards.
- Familiarity with configuration control concepts and tools.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR requirements.
