Responsibilities
- Apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical systems.
- Produce models for components, parts, subassemblies, and assemblies.
- Execute tests for systems, subsystems, and components with technical oversight.
- Analyze test results in relation to design specifications.
- Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Document development, analysis, and test data.
- Follow design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
- Experience with Solidworks or similar 3D CAD software preferred.
- Familiarity with ANSYS or other mechanical analysis software preferred.
- Motivation and passion for the aerospace and defense industry.
- Willingness to work onsite in Richardson, TX.
