Responsibilities
- Participate in efforts to improve test yields and production throughput.
- Identify test failure trends and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish improvement programs.
- Conduct capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
- Select and order capital test equipment based on cost analysis.
- Provide technical support for the entire product test process.
- Interface with design engineering for necessary design changes during production.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years, or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- 5+ years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry with a focus on product testing.
- Understanding of basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions to technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in facilitating discussions and communicating across organizational levels.
