Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps.
- Perform time studies to maintain standard timings for operator productivity calculations.
- Identify opportunities to remove waste from processes and reduce standard times.
- Support Production Build Operators with immediate needs on tooling and processes.
- Utilize drafting/modeling software to design and implement new fixtures for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs).
- Conduct process flow and line balancing analysis to drive improvements.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- 5+ years of manufacturing and/or electrical component troubleshooting experience.
- LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify alternate solutions to technical challenges.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
