Responsibilities

  • Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps.
  • Perform time studies to maintain standard timings for operator productivity calculations.
  • Identify opportunities to remove waste from processes and reduce standard times.
  • Support Production Build Operators with immediate needs on tooling and processes.
  • Utilize drafting/modeling software to design and implement new fixtures for process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs).
  • Conduct process flow and line balancing analysis to drive improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing and/or electrical component troubleshooting experience.
  • LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify alternate solutions to technical challenges.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
