Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test yields and overall product quality.
- Identify and analyze component test failure trends; implement corrective actions.
- Study and establish solutions for decreasing test equipment downtime.
- Analyze test processes for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing needs.
- Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
- Conduct process flow analysis and implement improvements for safety, quality, and productivity.
Job Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify alternate solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams.
- Experience with equipment and factory layouts.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks while adapting to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with safety, quality, and productivity improvement processes.
