Responsibilities
- Integrate equipment and lab set-up for testing
- Design and build prototypes with mechanical and electrical components
- Install and swap units into the system or test string as needed
- Conduct unit and system level testing in a lab environment
- Research electrical and mechanical components for hardware design selection
- Assemble electronic rack assemblies with units
- Create electrical schematic diagrams and engineering documentation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM degree
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Experience using laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, etc.)
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics
- Experience with circuit design and testing units in a lab environment
- Familiarity with cable assemblies for power, data, and RF
- Knowledge of communication interfaces and bus standards (e.g., SPI, I2C, PCIe, etc.)
