Responsibilities

  • Develop and qualify system power to meet new product requirements.
  • Create and execute test plans for power designs and document procedures.
  • Resolve power-related field/product issues for assigned projects.
  • Engage with power supply vendors to meet quality requirements and timelines.
  • Conduct design reviews of schematics, BOMs, layouts, and routing.
  • Perform failure analysis (FA), root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action reports (CAR).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on power design challenges.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
  • Experience in power design, power electronics, or analog design.
  • Familiarity with design topologies such as buck and buck-boost.
  • Proficiency with design tools like LTspice, PSpice, and Allegro.
  • Knowledge of board-mounted and front-end power hardware design.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality assurance (QA).
  • Understanding of international regulatory and environmental requirements for power supplies.
