Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify system power to meet new product requirements.
- Create and execute test plans for power designs and document procedures.
- Resolve power-related field/product issues for assigned projects.
- Engage with power supply vendors to meet quality requirements and timelines.
- Conduct design reviews of schematics, BOMs, layouts, and routing.
- Perform failure analysis (FA), root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action reports (CAR).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on power design challenges.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
- Experience in power design, power electronics, or analog design.
- Familiarity with design topologies such as buck and buck-boost.
- Proficiency with design tools like LTspice, PSpice, and Allegro.
- Knowledge of board-mounted and front-end power hardware design.
- Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality assurance (QA).
- Understanding of international regulatory and environmental requirements for power supplies.
