Responsibilities
- Own hardware design from initial requirements through production.
- Develop mechanical designs integrating energy storage and power electronic hardware.
- Prototype rapidly to identify issues and develop final products.
- Design products for high-volume manufacturing.
- Support customer-facing hardware demonstrations to understand requirements.
- Collaborate with peers to solve problems and share knowledge.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and requirements.
Job Requirements
- Experience in system design projects (collegiate or professional).
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical engineering role.
- Proven CAD skills, preferably in SOLIDWORKS.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals (structures, fluids, thermal).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, CNC).
- Background in rapid prototyping and hands-on fabrication skills.
- BS or MS in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
