Responsibilities

  • Build and scale production of robotic systems for assembling solar farms.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, drawings, and BOMs.
  • Support part qualification, incoming inspection, and supplier quality initiatives.
  • Improve the efficiency of building robots to accelerate clean energy deployment.

Job Requirements

  • 2-8 years of experience in bringing mechanical or electromechanical products from prototype to production.
  • Ability to read and create mechanical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with engineers, suppliers, technicians, and leadership.
  • Willingness to relocate to the SF Bay Area and work from the San Leandro HQ.
  • Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with ION manufacturing software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DFM, DFA, and/or GD&T principles and experience in robotics or complex mechanical systems is advantageous.
