Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, testing, or manufacturing of mechanical, electrical, or software systems for the robotic factory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering challenges affecting production timelines.
  • Document work and create validation/test procedures.
  • Develop tools and automation to improve engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Own and drive a project throughout the summer internship.
  • Possibly travel to customer field deployments.
  • Engage in hands-on work with robotics and manufacturing systems.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with robotics projects.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability to work in the SF Bay Area for the summer.
  • Interest in mitigating climate change through technology.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and programming languages is a plus.
  • Comfortable with hands-on work in a shop/factory environment.
