Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, testing, or manufacturing of mechanical, electrical, or software systems for robotic factories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, software, supply chain) on engineering challenges.
- Document work and create validation/test procedures.
- Develop tools/automation to improve engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in field deployments to see work implemented in real-world scenarios.
- Engage in hands-on work with robotics and automation systems.
- Adapt to a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with robotics projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to relocate to the SF Bay Area for summer 2026.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and programming languages (Python, C++).
- Experience with mechanical systems, embedded systems, motor control, or factory automation is a plus.
- Comfort with hands-on work in a shop/factory environment.
