Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, testing, or manufacturing of mechanical, electrical, or software systems for robotic factories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, software, supply chain) on engineering challenges.
  • Document work and create validation/test procedures.
  • Develop tools/automation to improve engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in field deployments to see work implemented in real-world scenarios.
  • Engage in hands-on work with robotics and automation systems.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with robotics projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to the SF Bay Area for summer 2026.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and programming languages (Python, C++).
  • Experience with mechanical systems, embedded systems, motor control, or factory automation is a plus.
  • Comfort with hands-on work in a shop/factory environment.
