Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to capture and document equipment and process knowledge.
- Develop troubleshooting guides and process documentation for technicians and engineers.
- Build standardized documentation packages to enhance operational efficiency.
- Document configurations, operating parameters, and failure modes for issue resolution.
- Audit and improve existing technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify documentation gaps and create systems for organizing manufacturing knowledge.
- Analyze process and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and analytical tools like Excel or Python.
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts such as Cp/Cpk and yield analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Hands-on mindset with interest in manufacturing systems and process improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior internship, lab, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
