Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize automated/semi-automated assembly processes for different products.
  • Estimate investment costs based on various scenarios and requirements.
  • Create User Requirement Specifications (URS) for automated assembly processes.
  • Develop automation solution concepts using 2D CAD tools.
  • Analyze designs for compliance with applicable standards.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to address site-specific automation needs.
  • Manage suppliers throughout the design, development, and deployment of automated solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar.
  • Minimum of 3 years in automation design, preferably at a machine integrator.
  • Basic knowledge of printed circuit board assembly and electronics manufacturing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
  • Experience in creating and managing detailed project documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to vendor/supplier locations as needed.
