Responsibilities
- Design and integrate complete electrical systems including PCBs, control panels, power distribution, and wiring harnesses.
- Own systems from cradle to grave including testing, production introduction, and post-sale support.
- Design and validate high and low voltage systems, including 240V AC 3-phase and 24V DC circuits.
- Create system schematics, PCB layouts, and harness routing documentation using CAD tools.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for seamless integration of electrical subsystems.
- Provide technical guidance for production of electrical assemblies with contract manufacturers.
- Prototype, debug, and iterate electrical designs through hands-on testing.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience designing complex electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Altium (v18+) for schematic capture and PCB design.
- Experience with high and low voltage systems and industrial controls.
- Knowledge of digital (microcontrollers) and analog/power electronics.
- Hands-on hardware debugging skills and experience with automated test equipment.
- Familiarity with PLCs and industrial communication protocols.
- BS+ in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
