Responsibilities
- Design and build spacecraft, prototypes, and fixtures.
- Support satellite design and cross-functional tasks.
- Create manufacturing drawings with knowledge of GD&T.
- Validate designs through analysis and communication with teams.
- Collaborate with vendors and machine shops for part procurement.
- Assist in improving and scaling production processes.
- Participate in environmental verification and electronic packaging design.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; graduate degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in Solidworks CAD Software for design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of tolerancing and stack-ups.
- Familiarity with RF, thermal, and power systems.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in teams.
- Experience with spacecraft design and environmental verification is desirable.
