Responsibilities
- Manage standard automation design including procurement, construction, and programming.
- Maintain instrumentation standards and evaluate design impacts.
- Specify and purchase instrumentation, control panels, and metering systems.
- Oversee purchasing and supply chain activities related to automation.
- Execute safety system function testing and Cause & Effect validation.
- Collaborate with Facilities Engineering on design and scheduling.
- Provide remote troubleshooting support for RTU/PLC/HMI systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation).
- Experience with ABB TotalFlow PCCU programming and Allen Bradley PLC programming.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols and SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 and API RP 500 standards.
- Ability to review P&IDs and provide feedback to Facilities Engineering.
- Knowledge of AGA/API measurement standards for allocations.
- Preferred: License Professional Engineer or EIT working towards PE.
