Responsibilities
- Support time studies to predict production output and identify bottlenecks.
- Analyze material and information flow to maximize efficiency.
- Develop, repair, and install test fixtures.
- Build, repair, and rework test stands, robot assemblies, and test cable assemblies.
- Produce and update assembly and test documentation.
- Support testing of robot sub-assemblies and data collection.
- Debug and analyze failures from mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Job Requirements
- Current student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or relevant fields.
- Familiarity with mechanical 3D CAD tools (Catia, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD).
- Experience with testing PCBAs or electro-mechanical assemblies using automated software tools.
- Basic programming skills (Python, Matlab, Labview).
- Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings and interpret electrical schematics.
- Hands-on experience with assembling, repairing, and testing electromechanical assemblies.
- Knowledge of robotics concepts and technologies.
