Responsibilities

  • Implement and refine perception algorithms for real-world sensing challenges.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex perception issues using data-driven approaches.
  • Write efficient and maintainable C++ code for real-time operation on hardware.
  • Integrate multimodal sensor data (LiDAR, RGB-D, IMU) for robust environmental modeling.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure for testing and visualizing perception modules.
  • Analyze field data to identify edge cases and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with navigation and manipulation teams to enhance product cohesion.

Job Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience or relevant project/internship experience.
  • Proficiency in modern C++ and software development best practices.
  • Strong understanding of robotics concepts like state estimation and image processing.
  • Problem-solving skills, especially in debugging sensor data issues.
  • Hands-on experience with physical hardware or sensors.
  • Ability to communicate technical trade-offs effectively in a collaborative environment.
