Electrical Engineering Co-Op - Atlas

The role involves working as an Electrical Engineering Intern with the Atlas Electrical Engineering team to design, build, and troubleshoot electrical systems in robots.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers on robotic systems design and support
• Assist in the design, prototyping, and testing of circuit boards and electromechanical subassemblies
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and systems issues
• Read and interpret schematics and circuit fundamentals
• Utilize Python or MATLAB for engineering tasks
• Work hands-on with electronics and lab equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms

• Actively pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with schematics and circuit fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with electronics and lab equipment
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB
• Strong communication skills
• Nice to have: experience with schematic capture, PCB layout software, microcontrollers, and power electronics
