Responsibilities
- Develop effective safety and reliability strategies and processes.
- Oversee safety and reliability engineering requirement development and lifecycle management.
- Support system risk assessment and management, including various testing methodologies.
- Lead safety case development and coordinate evidence gathering.
- Provide training and coaching to meet safety and reliability expectations.
- Oversee failure analysis and corrective action planning for issue resolution.
- Manage technical project aspects such as resource planning and risk management.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant product development experience.
- Deep technical expertise in safety-critical autonomous systems.
- BS in Engineering (MS preferred in relevant fields).
- Experience in product reliability and embedded electromechanical system design.
- Leadership experience in cross-functional engineering efforts.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and structured problem-solving methods.
- Exceptional communication skills for technical documentation and executive summaries.
