Responsibilities
- Design and develop electro-acoustic and mechanical concepts for automotive audio systems.
- Create demo vehicles for audio system development in collaboration with the research department.
- Utilize MCAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX) for solid modeling and design.
- Conduct structural simulation, thermal design, and mechanical component analysis.
- Manage work with external engineering service and part suppliers.
- Collaborate with the internal industrial design team to visualize audio systems in production vehicles.
- Participate in customer meetings and occasional travel as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in MCAD tools and understanding of design rules for plastic injection molding and metal forming.
- Familiarity with FEA tools for thermal and structural design.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to propose comprehensive design solutions.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Interest in automotive and audio systems is a plus.
