Responsibilities

  • Build, validate, analyze, and post-process thermal models in Thermal Desktop / SINDA
  • Plan, setup, execute, and generate post-test reports for thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing
  • Support thermal vacuum testing of spacecraft components
  • Assist program Thermal Responsible Engineering Authorities with documentation and model post-processing
  • Attend team and program meetings, providing project status updates
  • Collaborate with team members on thermal engineering tasks
  • Engage in a 10-12 week internship experience

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026
  • Basic understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer
  • Pursuing a degree in an Engineering field (Mechanical, Aerospace, etc.)
  • Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office products
  • Enrolled student with an expected graduation date on or after August 2026
  • Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above)
  • Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills
