Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and report results on Optical Lab Tests (EO/IR sensor tests and active sensor tests).
- Support EO/IR Radiometric Modeling efforts.
- Assist in the selection of Optical sensors to meet space mission requirements.
- Aid in Optical Systems Requirements development and verification efforts.
- Collaborate with mission and systems engineering teams.
- Work closely with manufacturing and testing teams.
- Participate in a 10-12 week full-time internship during Summer 2026.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Optical engineering, Physics, or related engineering/science field.
- Enrolled student with an expected graduation date on or after August 2026.
- Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026.
- Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above).
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills.
- Strong technical experiences demonstrated through projects or internships.
- Exceptional communication skills and enthusiasm for engineering and aerospace.
