Responsibilities

  • Write unit test functions for in-house astrodynamics software.
  • Develop illustrative examples and tutorials for core astrodynamics tools.
  • Build automated test suites for select programs.
  • Develop new astrodynamics tools.
  • Present work to the engineering team at the end of summer.
  • Improve and optimize modeling and simulation tools.
  • Gain experience in orbital mechanics and related fields.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026.
  • Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficient with MATLAB and Python.
  • Experience using GMAT.
  • Enrolled in college with graduation expected after August 2026.
  • Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above).
  • Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills.
