Responsibilities

  • Work with a mentor to find solutions to real-world problems.
  • Participate in R&D challenges related to guidance, navigation, and autonomy.
  • Conduct dynamic system modeling and simulation.
  • Analyze and develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Prepare reports and give presentations on findings.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and team members.
  • Engage in GRP programming and events to build professional networks.

Job Requirements

  • Completed the first year of PhD studies by July 2026.
  • Pursuing a PhD in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with dynamic system modeling, control system design, and advanced mathematics.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, C or C++, and object-oriented design.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and decision-making processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026.
