Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough safety analyses at the airplane level.
- Lead the integration of airplane systems and safety assessments.
- Document safety analysis and hazard mitigation activities.
- Participate in establishing safety advocacy strategies and tools.
- Execute airplane level analyses within safety assessments.
- Provide safety design and analysis expertise to stakeholders.
- Develop certification strategies for safety issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience for Associate, 5+ for Mid-Level, 9+ for Senior.
- Experience in airplane systems design and/or analysis.
- Knowledge of safety analysis methods (e.g., FHA, FTA).
- Preferred experience with the commercial airplanes certification process.
- Pilot license or experience is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills in mechanical or electrical engineering.
