Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer specifications and regulations to develop safety requirements and constraints.
- Develop System Safety Program Plans (SSPPs) as needed.
- Perform various hazard analyses across the product life cycle.
- Review engineering design specifications and other documents for potential safety impacts.
- Collaborate with government, customer, and program domain experts.
- Prepare presentations and reports for safety boards and design reviews.
- Develop proposals and specifications affecting system safety engineering scope and budget.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience for Level 3, 9+ years for Level 4, and 14+ years for Level 5.
- Demonstrated project engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Systems Safety, Systems Engineering, or Product Design.
- Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance preferred.
- Proficiency with System Safety analysis tools and Model-Based Engineering.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
