Responsibilities
- Build 3D models, detail part drawings, and assemblies.
- Coordinate with subsystem teams on structural interfaces.
- Provide on-site manufacturing and production support.
- Participate in subsystem test planning and execution.
- Work with teams on materials, manufacturing processes, and suppliers.
- Plan and conduct tests, and review test data.
- Mentor junior engineers and identify improvement opportunities.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering with 7+ years of experience.
- Experience with launch vehicles, spacecraft, or aircraft.
- Strong mechanical design skills using Creo.
- Knowledge of thermal materials and coatings.
- Understanding of aerospace hardware verification processes.
- Preferred M.S. degree and 10+ years of experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build consensus.
