Responsibilities

  • Work directly with engineering teams on applied test engineering projects.
  • Design, analyze, and plan tests for fluid, propulsion, mechanical, avionics, structures, GNC, and electronic systems.
  • Gain hands-on experience and mentorship during the internship.
  • Participate in events to learn about other parts of the organization.
  • Collaborate within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion.
  • Comfort with heights may be required for some projects.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable and low-cost space vehicles.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylum seeker.
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
  • Available for full-time work while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for space exploration.
  • Experience in a test environment and with relevant technical skills is desired.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and C/C++ is a plus.
