Responsibilities
- Work directly with engineering teams on applied test engineering projects.
- Design, analyze, and plan tests for fluid, propulsion, mechanical, avionics, structures, GNC, and electronic systems.
- Gain hands-on experience and mentorship during the internship.
- Participate in events to learn about other parts of the organization.
- Collaborate within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion.
- Comfort with heights may be required for some projects.
- Contribute to the development of reusable and low-cost space vehicles.
Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylum seeker.
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
- Available for full-time work while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for space exploration.
- Experience in a test environment and with relevant technical skills is desired.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and C/C++ is a plus.
