Responsibilities

  • Assist in projects involving applied manufacturing engineering.
  • Work on the development and fabrication of mechanical, propulsion, structural, fluid, and avionics systems.
  • Integrate design for manufacturing, testing, operations, and materials & processes.
  • Gain hands-on experience in a real-world environment.
  • Receive mentorship from managers and mentors.
  • Participate in events to learn about other parts of the organization.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve engineering problems.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
  • Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation.
  • Available to work full-time while not enrolled in coursework.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for space and related fields.
  • Experience in product design or manufacturing is desired.
