Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and test mechanical systems, propulsion systems, and structures.
- Participate in the entire design cycle, including requirements derivation and system performance modeling.
- Assist in the assembly and testing of development and flight hardware.
- Identify and implement design changes to improve reliability and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams across different business units.
- Engage in hands-on experience and mentorship through a one-year development program.
- Maintain a commitment to safety and quality throughout all engineering processes.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a BS Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a relevant field.
- Basic understanding of design fundamentals and proficiency in 3D CAD programs (Creo Pro/E preferred).
- Knowledge of strength and mechanics of materials and structural analysis.
- Relevant internship or co-op experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion.
