Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and test primary and secondary structures, including composites and metallic parts.
- Manage the full lifecycle of hardware from requirements through integration onto a launch vehicle.
- Perform research, develop concepts, and conduct trade studies.
- Create 3D models, detail drawings, and interface control documents.
- Provide manufacturing support and technical guidance for hardware integration.
- Develop test plans and documentation for flight hardware.
- Participate in subsystem testing and data analysis.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering.
- 6+ years of experience with aerospace, automotive, or launch vehicle structures.
- Proficiency in mechanical design, 3D CAD software, and GD&T analysis.
- Strong knowledge of structural mechanics and material selection.
- Ability to build positive relationships and contribute to an inclusive culture.
- U.S. citizenship or legal residency is required.
- Familiarity with finite element analysis and design considerations for cryogenic environments is preferred.
