Responsibilities

  • Applies engineering techniques to design, install, modify, analyze, and repair structural and mechanical systems hardware.
  • Interprets engineering models, drawings, specifications, and test procedures to support non-conformance review assessments.
  • Supports integration activities by identifying available work and resolving roadblocks.
  • Uses 3D CAD programs and FEA tools to analyze pressurized systems and structures.
  • Releases and supports engineering artifacts across the product life cycle for hardware fabrication and testing.
  • Implements operating procedures, resolves system malfunctions, and provides technical information.
  • Researches customer production proposals and evaluates the feasibility of designs.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a similar engineering field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the aerospace, defense, or automotive industries.
  • Proven success in supporting review assessments for non-conformances.
  • Experience with production support and proficiency with 3D modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and quality control processes.
  • Ability to work independently on rapid development programs.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful resident.
