The MK1 Electrical Vehicle Test Engineer II role at Blue Origin involves testing and developing lunar landers and related products as part of the Lunar Permanence business unit. The engineer will support the mission of human spaceflight by planning, executing, and troubleshooting test procedures for flight hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and execute test procedures for flight hardware.
  • Execute daily test operations and coordinate with internal customers.
  • Troubleshoot issues and anomalies during testing.
  • Analyze and archive test data to support verification tasks.
  • Support anomaly resolution and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of test procedures and setups.
  • Communicate status updates within the organization and with customers.

Job Requirements

  • BS in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical test or integration of aerospace systems.
  • Hands-on experience with spacecraft electrical systems.
  • Experience executing formal test procedures and documenting results.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, or Python.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and travel as needed.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
