Responsibilities
- Define and drive mechanical testing requirements for Operations, R&D, and Production Non-Conformances.
- Review, troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct laboratory nonconformances.
- Develop new processes for mechanical testing and support technician teams.
- Provide material test consulting for M&P and Production Teams.
- Develop and establish On Job Training requirements for mechanical testing processes.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned that support the mission and vision.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Materials Engineering or related field.
- 0-5 years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of mechanical testing and load frames (MTS and Instron).
- Proficient in CAD software (Catia, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, and specifications.
- Proven experience with laboratory evaluation techniques.
- Strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
