Responsibilities
- Participate in the design cycle of aero-decelerator and mechanical subsystems.
- Drive designs to meet cost targets for space access.
- Generate 3-D models and technical documentation.
- Create assembly and testing documentation for hardware.
- Participate in subsystem level testing and data analysis.
- Develop component specifications and manage suppliers.
- Provide manufacturing and production support.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace or equivalent mechanical systems.
- Strong mechanical design skills with 3D modeling tools.
- Proficiency in engineering calculations and first-principles physics.
- Experience in structural FEA and MATLAB/Python.
- Familiarity with aerospace designs and re-entry decelerator systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hands-on environment.
