Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize production processes for launch vehicle components and ground support infrastructure.
  • Design and implement workflow models and facility layouts to support scalable operations.
  • Conduct process simulations and capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks and improve throughput.
  • Support tooling and fixture development to enhance manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure DFM and DFT principles are incorporated early.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and schedule risks.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations regarding automation and infrastructure upgrades.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in tooling fabrication or manufacturing engineering environments.
  • Strong knowledge of various manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and digital manufacturing software.
  • Experience with GD&T and dimensional inspection methods.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting programs/projects through the product development lifecycle.
