Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and tooling concepts for aerospace systems.
- Drive vertical integration initiatives to improve cost efficiency and design agility.
- Collaborate with various engineering and operations teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability of components.
- Participate in Design Gated Reviews to incorporate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles.
- Develop tooling concepts for aerospace hardware, focusing on safety and maintainability.
- Introduce advanced manufacturing techniques into production workflows.
- Conduct root cause analysis and continuous improvement on manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or tooling design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and composites.
- Hands-on experience with tooling development and automated assembly solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
